  Part 2: Break Free Sometimes we know what the problem is, but knowing is not enough. We must make a decision to change. Genesis 27:40 says: “When you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck.” There has to come a point when you say, “Enough is enough. I don’t want to remain like this anymore.” Make time to pray. Turn away from distractions. Set boundaries. Seek God. Whatever has been controlling your time, your thoughts, or your attention, give it to God. Today, make a decision to throw the yoke from off your neck. PRAYER Oh Lord, give me the strength to let go of everything that is hindering me. Help me to discipline myself, to seek You, and to make the changes I need to make. Restore my hunger for prayer and Your Word. I choose freedom, growth, and obedience, in Jesus’ name. Amen. DECLARATION I will not remain bound. I will seek God. PART 1: IDENTIFY THE YOKE Genesis 27:40 (NIV) “But when you grow restless, you will throw his yoke from off your neck.” I have come to encourage you, but also to challenge you. I may not know what you are struggling with today, but God does. Ask yourself: What is blocking my spiritual growth? We all have seasons when we feel low, distracted or discouraged. But there comes a time when we must stop and identify what is holding us back. Is it fear? Is it worry? Is it unforgiveness? Is it procrastination? Is it social media? I will be honest, I am challenging myself too. Sometimes we need to put boundaries in place. Set a time limit on our phone, put it down and make time to study the Word of God, read your encouragement journal and pray. You must become restless in your spirit about anything that is taking you away from God. PRAYER Lord, show me what is holding me back. Help me to be honest with myself and with You.   Scripture:  Psalm 46:10 “Be still, and know that I am God.” Today, I want to remind someone that God is still good. Even when you don’t understand what is happening, even when the answer hasn’t come, and even when the road ahead seems uncertain. Be still. Trust God. Keep praying. He is working in places you cannot see. His silence does not mean His absence. And your waiting season does not mean He has forgotten you. Prayer 🙏🏾 Father, I pray for the person reading this today. Give them peace in the middle of their storm and strength for the journey ahead. Help them trust You, even when they cannot see the way. Remind them that You are faithful, You are present, and You are good. Let Your peace and joy cover them. May Your grace sustain them, and may Your goodness follow them all the days of their life. So his fame spread far and wide, for he was marvelously helped till he became strong. In today’s Scripture, we are told how God marvellously helped King Uzziah. God gave him wisdom, strength, and the resources he needed to succeed. As Uzziah trusted God, he was able to accomplish great things, and his name became known far and wide. You may be facing some challenges today. Perhaps you are looking at a situation and wondering how you will overcome it or where the help you need will come from. Be encouraged: God is able to marvellously help you! The God who helped Uzziah is still the same God today. He can give you wisdom when you don't know what to do, strength when you feel weak, courage when you feel afraid, and favour when you need doors to open.
